Well i thought it was about time i joined the world of blogging, where to start....

After working in the land of vintage clothing for many years  i just got bored of seeing everyone looking the same so i decided to start making clothes that were a little different! Above is a very early image from pretty much when i first started.

Ive probably been doing this for about 5 years now,many things have happened and ive learnt lots,i sold on my website,fayres and markets,ebay.Then in September 2010 i put my whole range of clothing in a wonderful little pop up shop in newcastle that was called 'made in newcastle'

Ive now kind of fell in love with the whole 1950's scene,hence the name change! i make a lot of 50's inspired kitsch clothes these days which i adore doing
